FIT INDIA WEEK VII TO IX

SPORTS DAY REPORT

CLASSES VII-IX

DAYS : 5.12.19-7.12.19

DL D.A.V. Model School, Pitampura organized KHEL- UTSAV for classes 7^th to 9^th from 5^th December to 7^th December 2019 in the school premises under the FIT INDIA MOVEMENT launched by Hon’able PM of India, Shri Narendra Modi. The school is celebrating FIT INDIA WEEK with an aim to promote healthy living among the kids. Our revered principal ma’am, Mrs. Anita Wadehra, declared the event open and motivated the students to participate with full zeal and enthusiasm.

For IX class event was organized on 5^th December 2019. Cricket matches were played by boys and throw ball matches were played by girls under the supervision of PTIs. Students were highly enthusiastic about the events. They learnt the spirit of team work and significance of physical and mental well being. Boys of class IX-B won the match and among the girls it was IX-H who added feather in their cap.

For VIII class, sports day was organized on 6^th December 2019. Cricket matches were played by boys and throw ball matches were played by girls under the supervision of physical instructors of the school. All students showed great enthusiasm and healthy fighting spirit to win the game. Class VIII – H girls and class VIII – C boys were the winners of throw ball and cricket match respectively.

For VII class, sports day was organized on 7^th December 2019. Cricket matches were played by boys and throw ball matches were played by girls under the supervision of sports teachers of the school.

First cricket match was played by VII A & VII C followed by VII B & VII D, and VII E & VII G. The victorious teams VII C, VII D, VII G and VII F found their place in semi finals. Girls played throwball and matches were played between VII A & B against VII D, VII C against VII E and VII F against VII G. winners were VII D,VII E and VII G who got their seats in semi finals.

VII G won the finals for both cricket (boys) and throw ball (girls)
